Hello,

I bought a c750 from conics. The service was fast (never ended up sending me a tracking number but it got to me before it mattered). Brett, the guy running it i guess, answered all my questions and the unit he got for me was perfect. Also he included an additional charger. The only downside to note is the units he sells are used. (I wouldn't have been able to tell but important to note). He also does a conversion to english if you request but I flashed mine before I knew much about it.

I bought from conics.net, The service is really great and fast.
Unlike the other post, which i find *very stange* the unit is brand new - Unless you mention you want a used one (Or the guys asked for the convertion so he had to open the box ?). Sometime Brett has some for sale.

Anyway, thats where i got my c700 a long time ago, and i had a very good services, as for repair. Im not sure, if you send him your unit he probably send it to sharp japan and you probably paid a lots. But I got my PDA a long time ago, maybe stuff changed since then

My experience was the same as of the previous posters. They were helpful and fast.
My C750 was used but in perfect condition.

I bought my C750 from Conics over a year ago now. Brett was responsive to mail, was willing to make a good package-deal (no fixed price) and gave me good support afterwards. My Buffalo Wifi CF was giving me trouble in the beginning, and Brett offered to send me a new one. Luckily in the end, after (re)configuring ( ahum) this wasn't neccesary.

I definitely got myself a new machine at the time, although the C700, C750 and C760 are currently only offered as used ones, with 3 months warranty, and only the C860 as a new machine, with 12 months warranty, according to the website.

The way of payment looked a bit tricky for me at first, because I was used to pay by credit card only. VISA/Mastercard payments are only possible via Paymate, and at the time of my order Brett had a monthly limit of 10.000 USD on credit card payments, which was exceeded on the first or second day of the new month . So I payed via  moneybookers.com, which is easy, reliable and fast.

So, in case Sharp comes up with a brilliant new wannahave machine, I would certainly place my order at Conics again!

I also got my Zaurus SL-C860 from Conics. It was a bit long, but it was a grouped order with a special price and there had been a shortage at that time; I don't regret. Also, I forgot to ask Brett to convert it to English, so it took my several hours to find out. I payed via moneybookers (easy, and much cheaper fee than VISA).

I've been having slight problems with Conics. I've contacted them twice in the last two weeks and I haven't heard from them. I'm a little apprehensive buying from someone who does not return my messages.

They may still contact me-- maybe someone is on holiday... Has anyone else had trouble contacting them?

Thanks.

dq,

I bought some accessories from conics, and certainly I suffered some order delay because one item was not in stock at the moment. I emailed Brett about it, but email responses were hard to get.

At the end, everything was OK.

I think Brett is a good and responsible source, even sometimes he seems to be out-of-the-city.

I've ordered from conics in the past and have nothing but good things to say about them.  They sell both new and used items, but are very clear on what you are buying.  When the c760 was discontinued, he started selling used.  My first experiences with conics was a few years back with sony vaio u-series products.  Never had to use the warranty service through them, but you can search on the vaio_u1 yahoo group for other testimonials.
