KA/Pi and DTM sync?
« on: August 10, 2004, 12:05:52 am »
I continuously use KO/Pi, wonderful app. I've been tracking KDEPIM/Pi thinking about migrating to KA/Pi but what's holding me back is that I have a LARGE number of contacts in my C760's DTM address book, and I don't sync with anything (running Linux on the desktop). So, is DTM sync for KA/Pi planned? What's the status?

KA/Pi and DTM sync?

Hi slocaus and mcamou,

the next version of of KDE-Pim/Pi will take some time, because we are changing the Sync settings and other stuff.

Next version will probably have:
Beaming of vcards in KA/Pi.
Syncing KA/Pi with other addresses.

And syncing of Calendar and Addresses with mobile phones!
(via infrared for example, maybe even via bluetooth)
I do not know all supported phones, we will see...
The syncing of mobile phones should work on the Z, on the Linux desktop and even on Windows.

That would make KDE-Pim/Pi for me "fully functional" and I can say Outlook goodbye ...
