The rooster crows at midnight
« on: August 11, 2004, 08:05:46 am »
I am looking at purchasing a CF Bluetooth card for my Z with the intent of using it to communicate with a cellphone (probably a Sony Ericsson T637) to connect to the Internet. I use Cacko 1.21B currently. I understand that the Socket BT cards work fine. However, it seems that the best price and availability is the Billonton card. Has anyone used this will the Z and a Sharp ROM? Any feedback?

Before some helpful(?) person suggests doing a search, I did search on Billonton and got nothing.

That would be because it's Billionton, not Billonton.

Also there are several posts about that card over at the Zaurus DevNet Forums

I hate when that happens.

A lot of the discussion on devnet was over my head, but I did enough reading to see that the Billionton (or Billonton for us Iowans) is not a good bet. I am going to go with the Socket and make my life easy.

Thanks for the help.
