backlight settings
« on: December 13, 2003, 01:25:55 am »
has anyone else noticed that your backlight dim after left alone for a few seconds (l~30)?  I have also seen where the backlight goes out completely, then if I press a key or tap the screen it will come back on.

The latter scenario (backlight going out completely) is fine, but it\'s when the backlight dims, the only way to get it back to full brightness is by launching the Light & Power app.  Which isn\'t bad, unless I\'m in the middle of a game... then I have to exit or stop the game first.  (I suppose I could just minimize the game).

any thoughts?

I only had this happen when the battery level is low, otherwise it stays full power during use.

My 5600 does this on occasion also on all the ROMs I\'ve tried. tKc, OZ, Sharp 1 & 1.32.
Is this a Sharp thing?

I concur with jerrybme, I\'ve only ever seen it happen when the battery is running low
