GPS startup question
« on: September 12, 2004, 05:53:12 pm »
Got a Digi traveler GPS but not sure where to start.  Mainly wanted it to work with Wellenreiter II.

Any links to what .ipk needed for oz 3.3.6pre1 be appreciated.

Thanks

Do not know much about digi traveler (De Lorme) but other De Lorme Units work with http://qpegps.sourceforge.net/index.html.

even if you do not use this software the info on the links will get most units working.

For me it was just selecting the right com port and doing  a "cardctl resume" in the terminal to get my Haicom unit working.  As always with Linux you might need to stop and start to get things going or quiting.

Good Luck
