will cacko kernel fix my cf gps probs?
« on: September 17, 2004, 10:33:11 am »
Hi all,

I'm new to owning a 5500 (standard sharp 3.10 rom with 2.4.18 kernel), and I've got a globalsat BC-307 cf gps that I'm trying to get to work with it. I seem to be having the same serial_cs.o problems that keep cropping up. I read in the downloads section that the latest cacko updated kernel has some kind of patch to do with cf cards being suspended when you first insert them-is this the same problem, ie if I update to this kernel will all my troubles be over (she says hopefully)?

Thanks

Jo
