NAND Backup and Restore
« on: September 19, 2004, 08:29:22 am »
Guys

I am playing with Cacko and PdaXRom using NAND Backups and restores.

The question is.. When I restore a Cacko NAND Image over a PdaXrom installation, do I need to re-partition the flash (before doing the Restore) or is that information part of the NAND Image?

Sorry, I must seem dumb

..Clive

NAND backup is a complete flash image and carries the partition information too.

So the answer is no, you don't need to repartition before restoring.
OpenBSD 4.2 -current on full 4Gb of SL-C3000
Microdrive replaced with 4Gb SanDisk Extreme III card
