5600+OZ3.5.1+Opie1.1.6+W2K & Synching
« on: September 22, 2004, 01:39:58 pm »
Hello....

Does anyone have a link on a good step by step 'How To' on setting up a
SL5600 with OZ 3.5.1 / Opie 1.1.6 / Windows 2000 to synch with Outlook via Intellisych?

I've tried everything I've read in the forums and just can't get it to work any which way.

Any help or links would greatly be appreciated.

thanks
Ian

I haven't had success yet, but I am making progress. You need to find the version 2 intellisync, that at least can talk to the zaurus, although it quits because the version is mismatched.

Obviously you need to set up networking on your Z, and assign an IP address to the network connection that belongs to the Z on your PC.

Then go into the security applet and select intellisync and a IP address range to accept sync from(I set mine to any just to get started)

At that point you should be able to ping from one to another. If you can ping then you should be able to sync, it's just a software problem at that point.
