Just need some advice. Should I buy C860 now or wait for 2 weeks? maybe coming of c1000 will make c860's price go down.

I don't know... personally I don't expect the C860 to significantly drop in price (I sure hope it won't because I just ordered one    ). The C3000 is more of an addition to the Zaurus assortment, and will be priced a fair bit higher. It's in no way an 860 replacement, at least that's how I see it. But time will tell...

For what it's worth I think it will come down in price - it seems to be a C860 replacement to me; sorry to disagree :-(.

Si

P.S. Looking at the price of a C3000 - isn't this roughly the price at which the C860 came out (I've not been following prices for a long while so I don't know how much they cost these days)?

It doesn't look like it's meant as a C860 replacement, other than in the sense of replacing the current top model.

For one thing, the C3k doesn't include Java (though it may be possible to install cvm or evm, I don't know); a Japanese article mentioning this said that Java users were (apparently) expected to stick with the c860 if they needed it.

Some stores here still carry the older/lower-end models, such as the A300 and the C700; other stores, though, have the c750 as the low-end model.

Time will tell, I guess.

I don't know if I see the SL-C3000 as a replacement for the C860, or as a true laptop replacement. The specifications resemble a subnotebook of a few years ago far more than they resemble that of any PDA. I think the C860 will see a slight drop in value on eBay, but stores will probably stay at about the same prices.

Read this page on PriceJapan about their service to visitors and about how hard it is to source items at the cheapest prices.
