I had a similar problem initially with the Buffalo card when I bought it for my 5500 (like yours, running tkcROM).
This post at the DevNet tells how I resolved it, with the help of the other forum members there.
However, the problem in my case was that my card is a WLI-CF-S11 (no G), and I had to edit the Buffalo entry in /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf, as there was only an entry for the WLI-CF-S11G. All I can suggest at this point, with the card inserted, is entering
cardctl ident
at the terminal, and noting the two hex numbers given after \"manfid\", in the entry for the card (hoping there
is one). Then, find the Buffalo WLI-CF-S11G entry in /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf, and edit it to include
manfid 0x026f, 0x030b
(or whatever the two manfid numbers are for your card). Beyond that, I\'m not sure what else might help, as I\'ve never even seen a C-series Zaurus before, let alone used one
Hope this is of some help, and apologies if you\'ve already thought of all this...
