Network Problems

Recently, my wireless network card on my 5500 has stopped working. As far as I know, nothing is wrong with the card or slot, the Zaurus detects the card correctly and tries to connect, but when I tap connect, it stays at 'Initializing' and never goes to Connected. I have checked the network status while trying to connect, I see that I get a 52% signal, and it never goes higher. 0% quality on the signal. My card is an AmbiCom WL1100C-CF, worked fine before. Any ideas?

After some examination, ROM reflashings, etc., I have learned that it seems to be a problem with the card itself (two sockets near the corner were heavily mutated, covering the pins, etc.). Try to fix it only makes it worse, I think I'll need a new one.
