GPRS from Zaurus via IR to Orange phone

Like I said, the GPRS access point is set on my 6310i itself. That is all I need for GPRS access, no complicated modem strings or anything else like that

So is mine yet it refuses to connect without that long init string. It appears that the PPPD is an old compiled version anyway as on the X11 ROM and the OpenZaurus for 5x00 ROM people report difficulties connecting to servers that use MS authentication..

I\'m seriously thinking of going for the Blue Monkey Bluetooth card, and from what you say, it\'s possible to set up the Zaurus to use the 6310i as a GPRS modem via BT

I do highly recommend the bluemonkey card, it\'s cheap and I haven\'t had any difficulty with mine yet, and the ipk is pretty easy to install. Just need to configure the pin files.
