Ridiculous Bug on GPE
« on: November 03, 2004, 08:32:48 pm »
On OZ 3.5.1 and GPE on an SL-5500, it seems that by modifing my user information causes the login screen to hang.  The only way I can figure out how to recover from this is reflashing the Z.  Anyone else with this experience, or is my Z just borked?

Nope your Z's fine.  Theres a few problems with GPE as described here.  Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version 'cause the OZ team is soo awsome.

Alternatively, upgrade to OZ3.5.3, where this bug has been fixed

Actually, I was using 3.5.3 (with GPE) and was still experiencing the problem, although since I switched to 3.5.3 and Opie, I have not had the problem
