GuruGeek2002,

Support in what way?

The SL-6000 has a full web browser (Opera) which has a special feature for re-flowing the page into a smaller screen that is kind of neat, but I don't think that is what you mean by web clipping.

Web Clipping seems to be a PalmOS thing to restrict the amount of bandwidth one uses by "clipping" out the extra HTML. At least from what I read.

Since the Z has a full browser, there really isn't any need for web clipping (unless you have BW problems).

Perhaps you could tell us a bit more...

I use an online broker for stock trading.  They now offer pda streaming quotes or stock ticker updates.  The site says your pda must support web clipping.  I've never heard of it, did some googling and discovered, as you pointed out, its a slimmed down web browser.

I guess if all else fails, I could download the app and see if it works...

To quote the site:

Palm Handheld with Web Clipping support (**)

This file contains the most recent version of the mobile application available for Palm compatible devices with Web Clipping support (among them Palm VII & VIIx, Palm Vx and Handspring with Omnisky modems, and Palm i705)

Download

File Size: 2 KB
File Date: 02/12/2002

(**) Refer to your PDA documentation to determine if your device has Web Clipping support and application upload instructions. Also check with your wireless Internet service provider to verify your contract includes Internet access for your PDA.
