Were are the Cylon Raider fans????
Heh Doc I don't mean to be mean, but if you win, you'll get the Zaurus but won't get your layout used :-X

It's not a personal thing at all; it's just copyright issues (some of your images) that we don't want to deal with when we have to get other things up and running.  You're still in the running for the 5500 though and your name will still go down in ELSI history as one of the contestants.

How do we know the vote has not been rigged and the electronic voting system has not been tampered with.

If my side looses, I want a recount

Trust me, if the voting was rigged, the 'Current ELSI Layout' would be winning so I wouldn't have to do any extra work

If I could put in my two cents on the two round voting...

I don't think it would be fair to the contestants to have a second vote.  If the contest was presented that way in the first place, then it would be different.

To those who didn't vote for scoopie or yzord (the two currently in the lead), your vote still counts, it just won't be a deciding vote    (unless of course the person you voted for comes up from behind).

To be fair, I think the winner of this poll on 12/18 should be deemed the contest winner.

This is DZs contest, so I'll support him in any decision that he makes...  just my thoughts... take it or leave it.

I think so too - as offroadgeek.

Its not fair to change the rules mid-way just so that peoples votes could count again - this seems like the "electibility" factor here - we all want to vote again for the person who seems more with a chance to win - not fair.

If I voted for the guy with just one vote - my vote counted - just that it went for the loser.

my 2 cents

I really don't see why people had voted differently knowing there is a second round? Unless people waited to see whom will emerge from the flock. But, this penalize early voters. Sould we all kept our votes for the last day? But, may be the point is results shouldn't have been shown before the vote is ended.

I hate strategic voters...

I agree that with so many contestants, a second round would be fair.

Some opinions:
by626 has great colors and a good small layout. Didn't like by6261.
chaosS is great too, congrats.
network guy's are marvelous pieces of minimality. networkguy2 is my favorite one.
yzord's are just too Crystal for me, I don't like it.
skoopie's orange funk was a great surprise. Blue funk is not that good (maybe lighter tones of blue can help), and smooth metal is not my type.

So, I'd vote networkguy, but seeing yzord's on the lead, i vote for my 2nd one, skoopie's orange funk.
SL-5500, OpenZaurus 3.5.2 -- hey, it is good! :^)
SD Panasonic Hi-Speed 256, vfat -- will become ext2 soon
CF Type 2 Simpletech 128, vfat -- stays vfat for flashing ROMs

I don't care who wins(although I liked yzord) as long as we have a "Z friendly" (e.g. Small screen) layout i'll be happy

One thing I noticed about yzord's design is that it doesn't show what an actual application entry would look like - it only shows the 'background' design.

Also, a lot of people seem to like yzord's entry, but which one? The link contains pics of at least two distinct designs.
