Better Batteries For The Z ?
« on: November 22, 2004, 09:10:40 pm »
Well, its been over a year that my 860 has been out and I'm thinking that battery technology has improved over that time.

Are there smaller batteries available that are the same size as the smaller battery for the C series, but with the staying power of the larger one?

There's nothing really new in the battery world vis a vis the Zaurus.  Instead, I bought one of the awesome battery charger/usb battery/power adapters from www.semsons.com.  For $20 I got a power charger with 4 double-a batteries (1600mHA).  The charger charges the Z over usb, and it can be used without the batteries to provide power!

In fact, I ordered a usb power cable for my Sony cellphone (they all use the same power), and it works like a charm.  Easily the best Z investment I ever made outside of the actual Zaurus.
