Root Password Reset
« on: November 25, 2004, 06:59:30 am »
Hi there,
Does anyone know how to reset the root password on an SL6000L if you've lost it.  There's no data on the device so doesn't matter if I have to do some kind of hard reset as long as I can get back in as root again?
Many thanks

If you can still set programs to run as root by clicking and holding down on the icon, then you may be able to run a file manager that can copy a modified passwd file to /etc/passwd.
