hello dudes!
this is my first post on this forum. i haven't bought a sharp zaurus yet, but was thinking about buying the sl6000l. is that a good choice?
anyway, on to the subject. i want to record the songs that i create on my guitar and on my piano into the sharp, so i'll need a lot of memory, at least until i pass them on to my desktop pc (running gentoo gnu/linux ). i know there are some quite capient cf ibm microdrives out there. i found one that holds four gigabytes on ebay for a hundred and sixtynine euros. does the sharp zaurus sl6000l understand how to read that microdrive? i only read about microdrives holding one gigabyte so far. is it possible to read the larger ones too? are there any cfs larger than four gigabytes? and is that a good price? where else can i find the five gigabytes microdrive?
also, will i be able to install applications on the microdrive, or do i need to install all of them in /usr? in that case, can i mount /usr as a separate partition on the microdrive?
this is all. thankyou very much in advance for all your answers! byebye dudes!
ciao!
