Zaurus 6000l On Amazon
« on: November 30, 2004, 06:17:03 am »
Hi,
I would like to buy a Zaurus 6000L on Amazon.com, but I don't really know what accessories are provided with it.

I *suppose* there is the stylus, docking station, and some  80-pin expansion connector (what is it by the way ?), and a battery.
But what about the manual, a CD,  or a sreen protector ... ?

And what kind of battery is provided ? the big one or the small one ?

Thanks for help anyone !

Greetings.

My Zaurus arrived from Amazon.com yesterday. The box contained the Zaurus, single standard battery (assuming this is not the long-life version), installation CD, desktop cradle (which is HUGE), power cord, standard getting started guide, power cord, connection cradle, and the flip-down screen protector (not an acetate sheet screen protector). Seems like the same standard package that arrived with my 5500.

Interesting that the box is a plain brown package, nothing flashy, no printing. Just brown cardboard with black lettering.

What do you mean by 'standard battery' : I thought there was just one type for the 6000L : the EA- BL09.
SL-C760 (Cacko ROM), 256Mb CF,512Mb SD
Pentopia stylus 3in1,CF wifi , CE-RH1
looking for : SL5500
Previous : C3000,C860 & 6000L.

The 6000 comes with a 1500 mA Lithium Ion battery, which isn't as good as the C series batteries (1700 mA), but better than the 5500 (950mA).

The 6000 was never targed for the consumer market (it was targed at the enterprise market instead), so I'm not surprised that the packaging isn't that fancy.
