Need Another Little Help Guys

i just saw the price for 300 bucks and want one if....someone can help me decide.  


most of this was directed to the guys at the c860 but am wondering how these will fit with the sl6000

well, i hate to say it but i was looking at a tungsten t5 and i still keep slapping my face to "why!"

my current setup is a-
zaurus sl5500 internet access through siemens s56 through irda.
1gb simpletech cf
1gb PNY SD
Softwares are listed as
KO/PI pim applications(i love it!)
portabase
qashmoney
mileage calculator
pdf viewer
zbedic with the whole 200mb dedicated with wikipedia and dic and all.
bdictionary with medical libraries such as encyclopidia cracked/yanked from the Palm os libraries
thekompany software like explorer, ftp, videoplayer, audioplayer, voice recorder, gallery, .

Games like
rocketelite
interstellar flames
bustem
motocross stunt racer

and my favorite, zfceu with over 200 nintendo games installed and playable with full audio and full framrates.

i can watch full length movies and of course listen to my audio with plenty of space on my drives.

I been a sharp pda user since fOkin years since the turn of the 1990's. I still have a "sharp My wizard" which works. I have a sharp sl5500 which i love to death and can't seem to get away from. If you guys wanna see another sharp cxx zaurus user, i need a few guys to let me know what works and some of your expiriences from usage and problems. I was thinking of purchasing a cheap laptop and sticking in a mandrake 10 and then i saw a pdaxrom on a cxx handheld.

1. well my sd card and cf card work?

2. what about  bluetooth? i have a cellphone s56 with bluetooth which i have not been able to find a compatable card which works on the sl5500 unless i buy one online.

what software will work or will not work on the cacko rom and the pdaxrom?

thanks a bunch! this will save alot of time for me. i spent like a year getting my zaurus sl5500 (due to softwares and new things that came around) the way it is keeping it as stock as possible.

I cannot help you with your bluetooth question at all.

All of the hardware you have and list is known to be completely compatible to the best of my knowledge.

I myself had almost the exact setup and was faced with the same dillimna.  I finally purchased my 6000 and have been completely satsfied ever since.  Actually I was so impressed I went and bought a second as a spare! And a third, uh, but that was an accident and a long story... *sigh*

Now im really pissed off!

the 300 dollar 6000 sl is gone.!   what was i f(((Kin  ))((**&&&^$$ thinking?

ill be patient until it reapears if i was right to see the price.

if anybody has an email to contact the guy, give it please?  i have about 400 dollars for the thing.

ohh i also have a zaurus tutorial in video creation so ill make one for this as well.

at the moment, i can compress a movies at 18 frames per second using 320x240 resolution with a wopin 160kps audio in stereo  using tkc video and other softwares for conversion. i havent had time for a linux version but am workin on my second pc with mandrake 10.

just to give anybody an idea how big the files are, lord of the rings is 320x480 resolution extra crisp viewing with 18fps with high quality audio.  no video artifacts are noticable at all and very playable on the sl 5500 with no mis sincronization at all even after fastforwading or rewinding due to the way i encode and tell the actual file how to replay after a search for a location. all under 240mb and playabe under an sd card.

now if i get my hands on the unit, i am going to do a separate page for making videos for it. I know i can benefit this commynity somehow.!!!!!  I know i can make it work well on the sl6000 at high resolution!
