The current RC5 SDK will work fine with the RC6-7 ROM when its ready - feel free to start working on a better PDF viewer..
Sorry to go off-topic for this thread, but seeing your post I was wondering:

does RC6/7 use the same kernel patches as RC5? (I need to build some HostAP modules, but I would like to avoid doing the work twice  )

Thank you!

I agree - and a native "links -g" is a *MUST*

it would be perfect for X, but it would be great if it used SDL on
the console and still had the -g capability!

ie: mplayer and links -g on console.  You spare yourself the
ram reqs of X, but get two of the most important features
(imho) ...

I saw in your bug list that you were working on the jog wheel, Laze.  Is it going to be more like a scroll wheel now?  I personally think that would be the best use for it, as opposed to left/right.

Great news for everyone - we have tweaked and tweaked - so now for example all the phones and BT card we have tried work for internet connection :-) And lots of other things have been fixed and right now we are discussing which 2-3 bugs remaing are the most important :-) These will probally be fixed soon and of course its going to be out before christmas as promised.

Things we have fixed recently:
- "power on" keys should not launch programs when pressed to power on Zaurus
- "complicated" init strings are accpeted for pppconfig/pppdialer
- configuration of silk keys/onscreen shortcuts
- configuration of calendar, address, mail, home shortcut buttons
- configuration of ctrl+alt buttons mapping
- configuration of right/middle click input method
C760 running pdaXrom lastest ;-)
SL5500 Running Cacko Qtopia
512 MB SD Card, 128 MB CF Card, Prism2 CF Wlan.

Always visit http://www.pdaXrom.org for latest news.

Laze,
Could you release 1.1.0-rc6-pre1? ;-) Linus seems to like it very much ...  Just kidding ...

Do will you at anypoint be putting up a FAQ on which phones were tested and have you tested any gprs cards?  audiovox rtm-8000 is what i'm hoping for

Thanks for working of the quickkeys!

I like the current Ctrl and Alt mapping, I hope that hasn't changed.  How configurable will the remaining buttons be?  Also, have you made any changes to the jog wheel?

Glad to see you've taken care of most of the major stuff, keep up the good work.

Laze, are you sure that was a bug? I thought that the whole idea of "power on" keys was to instantly launch a needed application right from the suspended state -- that's why they were made "power on" on the first place. Well, at least as I understand it.
