I was using Opie Reader with great success and much satisfaction for plucked scriptures and other ebooks on cacko 2.21 on my c860. It was great- a completely painless transition from a Palm T3, even using the same data files! After updating to cacko 2.22 i tried installing reader 0.7h directly from the developer's page. It opened up rotated, so i uninstalled it and installed the package from the cacko feeds. This one (it says 0.6j) opened up with the correct rotation, but i'm having troubles now with the same plucker file i was using before. I can't get it to display footnotes properly, and all the inbuilt fonts i was using previously are not displaying the same size as before. Finally, and most importantly, scrolling is dog slow.
I didn't install Opie Reader previously because i bought the Z used, so i don't know what version it was using (i think package manager said 1.0.3 or something rather unlikely like that), but it says on the developer page that rotation is broken in the current version, so i imagine that's why the newest version wouldn't work right for me.
So my question is, is there a newer version that will fix these problems but still work with my c860?
