I still live.

It was indeed taken over by spam and the hosting company took the site down. Sorry about that.
I have some plans for a site upgrade in the new year.
Stay tuned.
You should consider having Ibiblio host your stuff.  They've supported us for several years now and they pay for everything (college run non-profit).  We've only had to pay for domain renewals for the last couple years.

Thanks for everything Mike   Good to hear that they paid for it all.

Not that I can see koan.  I found these:

Stop shouting in topic titles?
Remove excess exclamation/question marks in topic titles?

I'll keep looking though.

If noone else claims the other 5600, I'll gladly take it off your hands.  I'll be in line behind ISO though.

The crazy thing is I searched high and low to find where that modern warfare 2 link is coming in from and I can't find it anywhere.

General Discussion / Renaming The Forum
« on: October 17, 2009, 12:56:02 pm »
The reason it is OESF is because Mike and I actually had plans to register the whole thing as a non-profit.  He started the paperwork a while ago but I'm not sure whether or not he ever finished it.

We can change it as long as Ibiblio is willing to rehost us under the new name (which I don't foresee any problem with).

I just changed the forum back to Admin Validation for now... we will look at updating IP.Board and to determine if there are any upgrades to validation

Thanks
What happened to the Validation forum you were moderating?  That was working quite well, and disappeared for some reason.  Was that on purpose or oversight with the upgrade?

The problem is it wasn't working well.  We might not have had much spam, but it requires a lot of people and time to verify and validate accounts.

OESF Announcements / How're Things Running? Do We Need To Add Anything?
« on: August 30, 2008, 06:37:12 pm »
It seems that things have been running very smooth lately.  Some spam, but it's been nailed pretty well thanks to our admin/mod team.

The question I'm posing to you guys is is there anything that you want added or changed?  I'm going to be upgrading us to the latest version of IPB soon, but I'm pretty sure it's just bugfixes and not features or anything.

But we have not wanted our short, balding leader to only conform to our peers' successes, we've wanted him to conform to our expectations of a good coach and strong leader. You know, to do things like, well, win lots of games.

Ha, here's another one!  Spammers love this thread for some reason.

Haha, I swear I'm not crazy.

There was a spam post there that I ended up deleting.

Hmm.. old thread.  Link to drug treatment.  Are you spam?

ELSI General Discussion / Any Interest For Maintaining The Elsi?
« on: July 17, 2008, 05:54:05 pm »
I have to admit, I never really touch it anymore because of other priorities.  Would anyone be interested in maintaining the ELSI?  Skillsets required would be PHP, HTML and MySQL.

The code probably needs lots of updating.  I wrote it when I was just getting into PHP, but it seems solid enough in that it's working.  Surprisingly, it's still access rather frequently.

If noone speaks up, I might try toying around with adding more features when I have the time.  If interested, just post in here or PM me and give me an idea of your skills so I know I'm not giving it away to anyone.

I wonder if it's due to ibiblios update.  Nothing was changed on my end as far as I know.

15
Fixed.

I would've done a server-side thing, but I don't think we have access to that.  I just did a quick PHP script that redirects you to the 'forum' section.

Can someone test and confirm?
