For Sale / Wanted / 3200 Great Condition For Sale

i have a zaurus sl-c3200 flashed with cacko. its in great condition and comes with all original parts and packaging except the leather case. I also have a planex wifi card, 1 gig cf card, and an external battery pack. im asking 400 plus shipping, but if that price does not accurately reflect the value of the product i would be more than willing to negotiate.

the photos are uploading right now so they may not be up at the time of posting. the pictures are abit shakey. my camera does not fair well with CF bulbs, hence the yellow hue. i will take some pictures outside and post them to flicker as well. sorry about the baby photos.

i have the hard drive partitioned and i have the files i need to copy onto the partitions. i just dont know how to copy the hdd1sys and hdd2sys files from the trisoft site to the partitions.

please help me

Sharp ROMs / Coming Back To Cacko From Oz/opie

alright, i put OZ on my z and now I'm stuck with it. i want cacko back but i don't know how to restore the hd partition table in OZ. i have downloaded the trisoft hd images but I'm still in the dark, i try to re-flash cacko but when the sd/cf card menu is supposed to load after the Japanese menu, oz boots.

alright,

i have a planex gw-cf11h that i bought with my 3200 from conics and a Socket Go Wi-fi! p500 that i bought to replace the planex. none of the above work, I'm using cacko, the original ROM didn't display any text at all in the network setup menu just boxes.

i get "unsupported card" for both.

Hardware Mods / Replacing Microdrive With Cf

im getting a cl3200 to replace my tired jornada 720, but i have reservations about microdrives.

i did a search and found some info on replacing the micro drive with a larger micro drive but nothing on a cf replacement. i have several questions:

is their any reason i should shy away from replacing the 6gig mcd with an 8gig cf and running cacko?

is the lowered power consumption and faster load times of a cf card really worth the time/expense/risk?

do i really need to worry about micro drive failure?

if anyone could answer these questions and provide some detailed information on exactly how to install a new cf card that would be wonderful.

i use mandriva linux so doing linux partitions are within my abilities.
