Zaurus - pdaXrom / Bluetooth Connection Is Extremely Slow
« on: May 31, 2007, 06:33:06 am »
Hi All,

I have this config:

SL3100 with pdaxii13 full
Socket BT CF card
Holux GPSlim 236 BT mouse

After

hcitool cc <MAC of Holux>
rfcomm bind /dev/rfcomm0 <MAC of Holux>
cat /dev/rfcomm0

I can see the data from the GPS-mouse, but they are coming extremely slow, ca. one portion of data every 40 sec.

The GPS-mouse is working fine with my laptop.

In /var/log/mesagges I can see this message:

/sbin/hotplug: no runnable /etc/hotplug/bluetooth.agent is installed

Any idea how to solve this?

Any suggestion would be very appricated

Thanks in advance

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Is There A Command Line Utility

Is there a reason, You can not use xmmscontrol?
In this case, it is no matter, if the xmms-window is in foreground or not.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Pdaxrom 1.1.0beta3 For C1000/c3100/c3200 And X86
« on: April 16, 2006, 05:22:05 pm »
I'm missing libgnomeui in the feed.

I could find it only in the feed for C7x0-860 beta1, not for C3100 beta2 or beta3.
Can someone explain, what is the reason for it?

Thanks in advance

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Stardict Audio
« on: April 15, 2006, 05:51:31 pm »
Hi All,

The Stardict doesn't play audio files, although the "pronounce"-button is activated (I assume it has found the appropriate *.wav file). The xmms works fine, audio volume is not zero.

Any suggestion is very appricated.

Thanks a lot in advance

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Fvwm-pdaxrom 0.4.x
« on: January 18, 2006, 05:29:46 pm »
Zumi,

as far as I understand You ( unfortunately I did not have enough time to RTFM)
I really haven't tought about this so far, I like to see my taskbar always, but it's possible to make such thing with Fvwm.
I found this in the Fvwm FAQ:
7.17  Autohiding FvwmButtons or other windows

Lemme know if you made something integrateable from it!
it's about definition of functions to hide/show. Is it possible to assign this functions to the shortcuts?

On some screenshots of desctop-fvwm are two icons on the left and right of the taskbar to hide those?
Any idea how to implement this?

Any suggestions are very apprecated

Thanks in advance

Hi All,

I tryed to use the xystray with fvwm. If I put the line

$FVWMCOMMAND '*ZaurusTaskbar: (4x1, Swallow (Respawn) Xystray `Exec exec xystray -iconrows 1 -iconcols 2 -iconsize 32`)

in my .fvwn2rc-file I can start the mb-applets from the shell and they are visible in the xystray-area, but the clock in not visble in the taskbar anymore. Any idea how to fix it?

Which scripts do I have to edit to start the mb-applets?
/usr/bin/fvwm-landscape.sh  does not seem to be the right place for it. If I put mb-applet-cards in this script and restart FVWM the taskbar disappears.

Is it possible to implement the following features with the FVWM?

We don't have to much place on the Z-screen. It would be very usefull to have the possibility to hide/show the taskbar  with the mouse (like icewm) or even better with a shortkey. So we can have almost windows maximized and easy switch to the taskbar if we need it.

Iconify All shortcut is not working for me. The menu-key is mapped to XF86LaunchC (tested it with xev). I edited the .fvwm2rc (changed XF86LaunchD to XF86LaunchC) to map Mail+C to Iconify All,  but no success.

Any suggestions are very apprecated

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Kdepimpi For Rc12 On 3100
« on: January 07, 2006, 04:51:28 pm »
Hi All,

I still have the prob with kapi complaining about not existing libmicrokabc_sharpdtm.so and libmicrokabc_olaccess.so. The trick with symbolic link in /opt/kdepimpi seems to not work with beta1 (the is no /opt/kdepimpi, it's /opt/kdepim-2.2.7, ok). I created the symbolic links as described above, but kapi still cant find this libs.
Any idea to solve this is very appricated

Thanks a lot in advance

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Can Someone Make The Newest Xfce 4.2.3.2
« on: January 04, 2006, 05:58:13 pm »
To Chero,

Could You please explain, how do You map "Hide panel"/"Show panel"-function to a keys. If the panel is "auto-hide" and not visible it is not very handy to show it with a stylus.
It was a reason, why I stopped testing of xfce on my Z and installed Icewm.
The post impotant points are for me:
-show/hide the panel as shortcut or simple single-click
-show desktop/"minimize all windows" as shortcut or simple single-click
-restore all windows as shortcut as shortcut or simple single-click

I realy like xfce, but the points above are critical for the daily work, IMHO.
Any ideas to solve this are very appricated.

Thanks in advance
