Hello,

i'm selling my Gemini (4G) with german keyboard in original package with the official Hub.
There are no scratches on body and screen or dead pixels (...). I used stock Android, rooted Android and Sailfish OS on it.

Gemini PDA - General Discussion / Car Charger Recommendation?

Ditto that question and emphasize "SAFE" given the uneven (and some say harmful) current cars generate (through the lighter and suspect USB connections).

Were I still driving to gigs as I did before retiring, I would hard wire the 12V to 110 power Inverter I have to my car's battery and hide it away in the boot / trunk... when the Gemini's battery fades and fails to hold a long, strong charge (as it will eventually).

Can anyone recommend a safe car charger, something to keep Waze from draining the battery?

Has anybody found a decent car mount for the Gemini?

I'd be interested to know if the Brodit car mounts for the Psion 5 are suitable for use with the Gemini.

Looks like you can't use it unless you sign in to Google…

No possibility of stand-alone use?  

Not possible in this release. i hate this type of software design. google connections should be optional.

Today EvilDragon announced in the pyra-handheld.com-forum that he will offer the Gemini in his shop in the coming weeks.

Dragonbox.de is a nice shop for small (mostly retro gaming) devices in Germany. Ed is also one of the original developers of the OpenPandora and the developer of the Dragonbox Pyra

I use Moon+ Reader Pro. It is nicely customizable and has nice themes. Even two page landscape mode, which is nice on the gemini. But i think it doesn't support palm docs. My books are mostly epubs.

Gemini PDA - Android / New firmware update released

i got an update notification with
Version: Gemini-7.1-Planet-10052018-V2.<2018-05-1015:09>
Size; 60.41M
Date: 2018-06-13

if i load, want to install it, my gemini reboots and the bootloader says:

E3005 EMMC:".... boot ...." has unexpected contents"
Update.zip is not correct.
installation aborted.

i think since it mentioned my boot partition the update i think it don't work for rooted devices.

Just look at Settings => Gemini Settings.

There is a switch to disable this behavior.

ich habe ein kleines Tutorial geschrieben, dass sich Scripting auf dem Gemini unter Android widmet.
Darin enthalten ist außerdem eine ein wenig angepasste version des Turbo Editors.
(Die Source mit den Änderungen werd ich die Tage dann noch auf Github hochladen...)
