Software / Kdepim Synchronization With Web
« on: May 20, 2009, 06:51:35 pm »
I know this is a pretty old thread just wnted to report I followed a similar procedure to sync with davical:

http://rscds.sourceforge.net/

I was using davical to sync my agenda between two laptops my blackberry and samsung u700 and some co-workers, now i can have this on my Zaurus too.

The procedure is pretty similar:

presync:
cd /tmp && wget --user=USER --password=PASSWORD -N http://SERVERADDR:81/caldav.php/USER/home/ && mv index.html mycalendar.ics

post-sync:
curl -u USER:PASSWORD -T /tmp/mycalendar.ics http://SERVERADDR:81/caldav.php/USER/home/

Code: [Select]
struct usb_device *dev = pAd->pUsb_Dev;
...
//struct device *udevice = &dev->dev;
struct device *udevice = dev;

The third, commented out one is the original. The compiler claims that there's no such member "dev" in "&dev," so I hacked it together so it compiled

The code is trying to assign udevice as a pointer to the dev member of dev struct and the compiler is complaining there is no member dev in dev struct so you need to find the definition of dev struct and find why there is no dev member.

The change you made assigned udevice as a pointer to whole dev struct which will overflow as soon as the code tries to use that pointer, if you find and post the definition of dev struct may be we can give you a hand (or maybe no )

As a stupid example the code is pointing to a book on a shelf and the compiler can not find that book while your edition in code pointed to the bookshelf itself not a single book and once compiled it brokes its back trying to pick the bookshelf .

and android is simply not released yet (and should be under the Apache License when it is.) So I'm not sure what the problem is.

Sincerely this is like telling windows is not open source yet  when it is released it will be open source until then it is closed source

akihabaranews have carried news of Tosh announcing they've thrown in the towel.

so, with a clear winner for HD, are there any here who, like me, have sat on the fence waiting for a winner. and might go ahead with a hidef TV and a BRay player (PS/3 for me, probably)

how does this bode for being able to rip movies and encode them for playing on our beloved devices, with DVD it's now pretty trivial, with BR it's not so?

I'm a console geek (well indeed I'm a true geek ) and I am a PS/2 lover so I rose to buy PS3 when it came out and I must say I'm deceipt, wonderful graphics and wonderful HD but... it's dirty, hot and NOISY making it a not so good thing for a living room, it would have been the perfect thing for a living room, it supports UPNP, browser, divx (since no long ago), mp3, wma, atrac, BR... but I personally can't stand seeing a movie with a background noisy fan running not to say PS3 must be into a glass or it starts taking all dust from the neighbourhood.

On the gaming side... i had no faith on wii... but it has won the fight, atm I'm only using PS3 for music streaming from a FSG-3 and PS/2 gaming (all ps2 moved to bedroom when ps3 arrived). If I could go back in time I'd buy a BR player and a upnp one and would be happier and quieter .
