Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Install Apps On Sd With Gpe ???

Ok, I have looked and searched but I cannot find how to set the package manager to install apps on a SD card (ext2 formatted) instead of root.
Any ideas ?

Remove your SD and/or CF card and reboot.  Mine did the same.  It is the screen to determine how to scan your cards.  It won't show up if you don't have any cards.

Yes it worked when I did that, but that is not the point.
A extensive discussion on random neutrino flux should have been part of the answer.

I have tried and tried to install 3.5.2 and get the same results.

I have a like new Sony UX 50 I would like to trade for a C7xx device.
This device has built in wifi and bluetooth along with digital camera.
With the normail accessories I have a belt case, special design \'charging\' case (has usb port on side to charge UX50 without removing from case), 128 MB memory stick and extra stylus.

I am looking to trade my mint iPaq 5450 for a C7xx series Zaurus.
The iPaq has both built in bluetooth and wifi.
Along with the normal goodies is a 64MB SD card and case.
I can also add my SL-5500 and all its extras (wifi card , SD card and case).

Location of the iPaq is NC, USA.
