Hebrew Input In X-based Roms
« on: June 11, 2005, 03:06:25 pm »
i wrote few scripts that switch hebrew-english keyboard layout.
i didn't make it IPK because i'm lazy, and there's not much demand anyway.
tested on PDAXROM RC8.

read the instructions (readme)
copy the files to the right place, and enjoy.

ps.
i have all kinds of solutions for hebrew (maybe even for arabic, urdo, etc).
PM me if you have problems.

Hey this sounds great, one of the major Z drawbacks was the lack of hebrew! When i get back from my holiday in Jerusalem,  i'll definitely try out your scripts, expect a PM from me in a couple of weeks...

I asked around a bunch for hebrew stuff on the Z several times over the last couple of years.  So far I haven't found anything for a qtopia based rom - will any of your methods work in the qtopia world?
This may be enough of a reason that I'll have to look in the X roms.

Thanks, Jon
