From the konsole
Code: [Select]
ipkg stauts will show all the packages (and versions) installed.

The "Add/Remove" application also does this if you go to the "Remove" section.

The difference is that Cacko comes ready to go for most people - it has all the things most poeple want to use right away pre-installed. in some cases this mreans that the applications can't be easily updated as they are like some of the default Sharp apps and installed in read-only memory. Some people didn't like this cause they felt that they wouldn't use a particular app or wanted to be able to remove it if needed, hence the Cacko lite ROM. The cacko lite Rom has just the bare bones, everything else needs to be installed. To see what is different in pre-installed apps between the two, go to the Cacko feed and look at every app with _lite_ as part of the package name - this app is not part of Cacko lite and is usually pre-installed in Cacko.

Due to the fluid nature of Cacko, I don't think there is a catergorical list other than that.

Also, related to your first question, most of the pre-installed apps in Cacko don't/won't show up with "ipkg status" as they can't be removed by the package manager.

Hope this helps some

it's a bug, and it's been reported already. Maybe the problem is solved in the next release.

from what I've, it is unlikely.  Anton seems to be busy these days, though he did show up to modify a version to install on the 3200
