Bluetooth Cacko 1.23 Locks Z Entirely
« on: April 19, 2006, 06:13:05 am »
Hello,

when downloading mails using Cacko 1.23 with Bluez drivers and Nokia DTL-4 CF card the entire Zaurus sometimes locks up and needs a hard reset.

Does anyone have an idea about a possible reason?
And how can I begin to troubleshoot this?
the dmesg ring buffer is gone after a restart, and there is no syslogging enables as far as I can see...

thanks
daniel

you could always edit syslog.conf and turn syslogd on.

Nokia passed this product on to socket/symbol,  and it's known to have occasionall issues.

you hwve to "cardctl eject", "cardctl insert" to unlock it.

I had two BT cards, a fugly tatty large one and a socket/nokia one, the former tho battered was more reliable, sold latter
