Oh and I see there pysqlite 1.0 in the devel feed, would it be possible to consider adding pysqlite 2.0alpha4 ?

This would need someone to fix our apache build file.

Is it possible to do a bt950_cs module for the 2.6.11 kernel? I have no idea how difficult it would be (so flame away if this is an unreasonable request/stuupid question) to make such a module, since it seems not to be part of the 2.6 'internal'/mainline kernels?

Thanks in advance (for either putting it in, or telling me it cannot be done, so I can quit searching  )

Gr.

hertog: looked into it.

bt950_cs does not compile with 2.6 kernels. From bluez-devel mailinglist I saw that that driver was too dirty to include in newer kernels. http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.bluez.devel/1243

Other info: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.bluez.devel/1923

so maybe you can try btuart_cs or other BT pcmcia/CF driver.. Give info if you got it working.

Hi.

I think the upgrade for libqte2 for SL-C1000 (akita) is missing some dependencies (http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstable/3.5.3/upgrades/libqte2_2.3.10-r15_akita.ipk).

It requires libts-0.0-0 >= 0.0cvs20050505, but this version doesn't seem to be available in the upgrades feed.

Any link for downloading it ?

Thanks in advance.

It is probably worth adding an up-to-date opie-reader to the upgrades now that (with a lot of help from the opie team) the CVS is up to date.

Added:
- opie-reader 1.2.0+cvs20050516
- tslib 0.0cvs20050505 - so now libqte2 should install OK on akita

HRW can you please comment on:

in my C750 I added the feed ..../machine/c7x0, so I could upgrade the orinoco-modules and orinococ-modules-cs.

But after the upgrade, I see those modules:
1) are installed under /lib/modules/2.4.18..., while they should be installed under /lib/modules/2.6.11/

2) after manually copying them to /lib/modules/2.6.11/, modprobe can find the modules but there's an execution error, that looks while they weren't compiled for this kernel

3) the original ones in orinoco-modules[|-cs]_0.13e-26-r1_c7x0.ipk work fine

Can you please review this, or should I post a bug report ?

orinoco-modules are available in two versions:
2.4.18: orinoco-modules*_0.13e
2.6.1x: orinoco-modules*_0.13e-26

naming is not best as ipkg takes 2.4 ones as newer...

HRW:

1) can then naming be changed, so ipkg upgrade doesn't upgrade my 2.6 to 2.4 modules ?

2) when installing 2.6 modules, they get installed in a wrong directory: they are installed in /lib/modules/.../net, while modprobe looks for them in /lib/modules/.../pcmcia; I had to move them to /lib/.../pcmcia and depmod -a to have them actually working

thanks

HRW:
It does not appear that the orinoco-modules have the monitor mode patch. Wellenreiter is giving an "Can't set 'eth0' into monitor mode: Operation not supported" errror; iwconfig eth0 mode Monitor says "invalid  argument"; iwpriv does not show a monitor mode ioctl. I do not see the patch in any of the feeds, but I was also under the impression that monitor mode drivers would be standard issue for any new ROM...
I only know these concepts from exhaustive OE Forums and Google searches, so please be nice to me if I am completely off track here   :-)
