Weird Stuff That Might Have Happened To You Too?
« on: September 10, 2005, 01:27:00 pm »
Here's a few things that I've noticed that might just be me, or might happen to other people:

1. If i reboot with my cf card in, the bootloader freaks out. If i wait till I see the dmesg stuff coming up then plug in the card, it works fine.

2. After I use x the terminal gets weird

3. After I come back from suspend, I get some sort of "soft error" that is corrected.. but it happens every time.

4. If I unplug my usb ethernet adapter (a linsys usb200m, seen as axe0) I get never-ending error messages on my console and i have to reboot to get rid of them (luckily the terminal still accepts input so I can do that)

If anyone else is havin these issues, or has solved them, it would be cool to know  Other than that I'm more than happy with my system right now.

If this is a CF memory/Micro Drive noted in openbsd-arm archives and this forum.
Else, please provide dmesg.

Harmless, mostly the built in micro drive warming up.

Yeah, I was wondering about those "soft errors" too, but assumed they were mostly harmless. Thanks for the information!

I'm generally thrilled with OpenBSD/zaurus except that I would really need binary packages to be productive with it. As a learning tool, it's great!
