I see that the Nokia 770/Maemo folks have ported the Frozen Bubbles game to that platform.  http://fb-maemo.blogspot.com/

Has anybody seen it on Z? I searched and couldn't find it.  Anybody who could please port it?  Support for VGA would be greatly appreciated.

Alternatively, have somebody seen the Froot game with support for VGA screen?
SL-C3100 (from PriceJapan.com): modified Sharp Rom (couldn't make Japanese input work in Cacko Rom)

pdaXrom has Frozen Bubble in the feed. It;s slow on the Z though which makes me wonder about it on the 770.

Why is it slow?  Or rather what makes it slow?  I don't see any significant calculations or graphics there (not more than in other games that run well on Z).

I'll try to run it through a Pocket Workstation.  I have the Cacko Rom as you see in my sig.

I have a 860 and the animation ran slow when I would play it. When you break a colored set of balls it was slow. Not really a big deal, just kinda annoying.

I just sold my 860 and a 3100 will be on its way to me from PriceJapan very soon so I will try it on there with pdaXrom and it may be a bit faster.

There is a user applied patch to make the bubbles disappear instead of falling. search the forums.
Gorgeous C860, 256 Sandisk SD, 1Gig Pretec 40x CF, PDAIR leather case & the really cool retractable iPDA USB sync/charge cable. Powered by PDAXROM BETA 1.

My wish - to have a Command & Conquer style game on my Z! (FREECNC!!!) Simcity 2000 would also be great.

There's a Java version of Frozen Bubble available at:
http://glenn.sanson.free.fr/fb/index.html

It runs on my J2ME PP for the zaurus C860. Unfortunately, sound does not work and it takes quite long to load.
Zaurus SL-C1000 / Cacko ROM 1.23
Planex 802.11b WiFi CF
1GB PNY SD card

Thanks for this pointer, it's great. No sound, but that's no big deal I think. If you use Jeode and not personal-profile-for-zaurus, it loads a little long, but then is snappy.

I've made an ipk of this for easy install, you can [a href=\"http://shiroikuma.com/peiji/hoka/peiji/linazau/peiji/sofuto/frozenbubblejava_0.9.5_arm.ipk]download it here[/url]
