My C3100, which I have had only 4 weeks, picked an argument with gravity today and lost.
I was standing in a supermarket car park scanning for wireless networks using kismet, as you do, and dropped it onto the very hard ground from about waist height. It was in PDA mode with the screen folded over the keyboard and the shock caused it to reboot

I waited for the reboot to finish and it seemed to be working and does seem to be in full working order still. There are a few minor scuff marks on the screen surround, barely noticeable, but the corner of the battery cover has a small crack. Probably the point of impact.
Does anybody know where I might get a new battery cover (I'm in the U.K.) ? Oh - and a wrist strap.
I must say that they seem to be fairly rugged especially as the hard drive is still working. I'm hoping there will be no faults showing up at a later date.
