Iriver Usb Host Cables
« on: January 14, 2006, 03:30:19 am »
I'm off to the States from the UK at the beginning of March for a week. If anyone wants an Iriver cable bringing back then I will order a pile and post them out when I get back here.

I only want my money back so the cost here will be whatever they charge plus the Paypal costs plus postage.

They will have to be ordered by the 20th of Feb or so to be certain of their arrival at work in Boston.

No complaints if they are late as these meetings tend to get re-scheduled.

No need for money up front, I'll pay for them and sort it when I get back.

This is an offer for individuals not for boxes in hundreds.

Nobody responded and so I ordered 4 on the offchance. They cost me $30 and they should be here next week, (my trip there got cancelled) I got someone at work to post them on to me.

That's £5 each + postage, bit more if you use Paypal rather than transferring the money to my account.

This is daft. I started this thread 5 weeks ago and no one bothered replying. I put a deadline of the 20th Feb in it which was plenty of time and then after I've ordered everyone and his mother wants one.

I ordered 4. They are not here yet. I may get stung for import at 17.5% though it is unlikely. Postage from the US will be absorbed by the company I work for unless someone gets real close to the books.

I would like to keep at least two of these so there are only two going at the moment.

Unfortunately the company I work for is restructuring and it is looking like they may shut the international arm down completely so I don't want to do it again right now. If this doesn't happen and I stay working for them then it isn't a problem doing it again. If they do shut this arm down then I can get a load posted to a friend in the states and have him forward them but the postage from him to me will have to be spread in the cost.

At the moment as far as I am concerned the two spare ones go to

Yoru and offthefront as they were the first two to show interest.

If either of those doesn't want one then gds is third in line.

I could so easily have ordered 20 or 50 or however many, that is why I posted over a month ago.

Figlabs has a similar cable, and shows prices in £, so I presume they are a U.K. business:

Streamlinecpus also carry this cable, but I don't know where they are willing to ship to:

In the USA: Walgreens has USB cable kits with mini A USB ends:
http://www.walgreens.com/store

The small block type ones are part of the G.E. USB cable kit sold in the USA at some Target stores. They were on clearance for about $10.00, but I'm not sure if all stores have them. Usually clearance indicates they may stop carrying the item, so your local Target may or may not have them. Big Lots also had one of the G.E. USB cable kits.
