Incidentally you don't get all architectures on the CDs... I think Zaurus is one that you have to get from http/ftp but I congratulate you for buying it and sponsoring the project.

I'm in it for the stickers! haha and it's nice to have a cd around just in case...

This thread should be a sticky - it's really very useful.  I find myself referring to it with every release.

Folks,

The link at http://zaurus.daemons.gr/openbsd/ appears to be not responding.  Does anyone have this material on another URL?  I'm prepping for an upgrade to 4.2 and want o blow away Linux.

Thanks

I've put together a more complete installation set. You can obtain it from the following locations:
OpenBSD/Zaurus SL-C3X00 Installation Files
OpenBSD/Zaurus SL-C3X00 Installation FIles
(These installation sets include a step by step install guide)

Have fun!

Hows this for a necrobump?

Hi iamasmith (on the off-chance you still have the same email address, read threse forums or still own a Z!)

I am currently struggling to re-install cacko on my C3000 purely to boot OBSD but I'd much rather be able to boot directly into OBSD. It seems you got that to work but I can no longer access your tarball with the modified flash root fs and complete instructions etc. I tried the wayback machine with no luck. Might you still have a copy you could re-upload somewhere for me?

Did you ever try suggesting your installation method be added to the official Z OBSD install instructions / distribution files?

Thanks
