re-installation question
« on: February 14, 2004, 01:08:00 pm »
I just got a new laptop, and I can\'t find my original Zaurus 5500 installation CD anywhere. I\'ve looked on the MyZaurus site and downloaded everything that might apply, but nothing will get the 5500 to link up with Win2K via USB.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I\'m missing? or should do?

TIA
JohnnyR

Which ROM are you using?

If it\'s an old one (2.xx) try here:

http://www.sharp.co.uk/zaurus/support/support.htm

Download the CD update zip file and burn in to CD and hey presto.

I\'m assuming that the file to get is SL5500UpdateCD.zip? I\'m downloading that now.

Success!
That was just what I needed. Now that I can communicate, I have to decide what other upgrades to do.
Thanks a bunch for the help!
