Document On Palmtop?
« on: March 02, 2006, 06:41:39 pm »
I want to place a MS Word document on my palmtop. (Preferably in the first tab)
I tried this in the "Contents" tab, it doesn't see my *.doc file when I browse for files,
but it does find image files such as jpg, png, ect.
I tried this in the "Tab Setting", add new application. It doesn't find anything except programs.
What I want to do is have an icon of my document, so I can click it and have it launch Hancomword.

A bit off topic, this is what the above document is about.
I gather all the info that I can in my local area about motorcycle events, especially "Poker Runs"
I place these events in a table format in a Word document which allows the person viewing it to see
all the events/poker runs for 2 months on one page at a glance.

EDIT: Opps, nevermind, the sort order in Contents was reversed, I just found it

I found a solution that Stu posted awhile ago.
(This allows you to put a document on the Palmtop)
He created a .sh file
Then placed the program name and the path to the document in the .sh file
Then made it executable with some linux magic.
It's all here: (post #6)

I then was able to assign an icon and a name for it in the Tab Setting function.

Now, I have a document shortcut on my desktop just like windblows...
