MusicWeed[/span]
This is a small application which goes through a directory with MP3 files (e.g. recorded with Stream Tuner / streamripper, or copied to the Zaurus from your MP3 collection) and displays a large window for each song which lets you decide to "Keep" or "Delete" the currently played file.
This is very helpful for reducing the size of an MP3 collection and weeding out all the non-favorite stuff.
This can even be done e.g. while driving a car, due to the simple and large GUI. (This is no recommendation of course! Be careful and watch the traffic... as always!)
The "Keep" and "Delete" buttons can be operated with the fingers, no stylus needed.
It's in the hermocom feed.
However, strangely when reading in the feed into the package manager, musicweed does not show up as "available", althought the package file has an entry for it.
Anyone knows why?
So for now, please download the IPK file manually and install it then. Xdialog is needed, as well as mplayer. wmctrl is only needed when the automatic mplayer process watch feature is used. This is disabled by default and can be enabled by setting the variable WAIT to zero in the musicweed script. Then, when a song has been played, the dialog window is closed automatically, the file is kept, and the next song is played.
By default, musicweed wait for a user decision before it starts to play the next song.
