Doesn't it include Konqueror? That's a web browser as well as a file browser.

The collie image doesn’t have enough space to include a browser. You can install konqueror-embedded from the feeds.

konqueror is available in the openzaurus feeds.  I'm surprised if OZ didn't install with a filemanger.   Opera is a good browser, but because of license issues it cannot be officially supported or installed in Openzaurus.

BTW The germany feed

Was going to say try the zaurus software archives.
but after checking it turns out I obviously didn't get either opera or netfront from there.
I tend to use netfront for web browsing and opera for reading html books.

Got it ! :-)
opera comes with the zaurus you can install it from the extras/apllications disc.
Should work with opie rom.
Pretty sure it's like the word and excel programs and can be added and removed independant of the whole rom.
Zaurus: 5500 & c860. 512mb bytestor hi-speed sd card. 256mb lexar cf, 128mb kodak cf, 128mb lexar sd, pink origo wireless cf card (faster than usb stick on my laptop) Car charger, usb sync/charger cable, fastest thumbs in the west ! :-)
Sharp roms on both.
