I got my 2 Bluetooth dongles to connect from the GUI, Finally
I used the PAN connection.
I still have to fiddle with my WinXP desktop:
1. Plug in both dongles to USB, (one to PC, other to Zaurus USB Host cable), (wait for Zaurus to load drivers).
2. Click connect, in network, or icon if it's showing on taskbar.
3. Click connect, in network, or icon again, (this needs to be done twice). Next 2 steps are on Windows PC.
5. Click, (now green) BT tray icon. Dialog pops up asking for PIN. Type in 1234 and click [OK]
6. Click BT tray icon again. Dialog pops up asking to authorize the connection, click [OK]
Now I'm connected.
My settings are set manually in PAN.
IP Address 192.168.0.19
Subnet Mask 225.225.225.0
Broadcast 192.168.0.255 (I found this number using ifconfig, don't know if it is needed)
Gateway 192.168.0.1
DNS-1 192.168.0.19
DNS-2 192.168.0.2
I can ping google, 216.239.57.99
26 packets sent, 26 packets recieved, 0% packet loss
I also get full activity on my modem lights in my Windows tray when pinging google.
But when I open Netfront and try to browse to google
http://www.google.comI always get this error: TCP Write Error
There is no activity on my modem lights either.
Both of my BT dongles are flashing rapidly.
What is causing this error in Netfront?
EDIT: I can surf the internet with my Palm, Bluetooth connection to my Windows PC, so Internet connection sharing is working.
EDIT2: I finally got this working with a PAN connection.
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=19403Seems I needed the correct DNS server numbers input instead of the ones above, (which worked on my Palm Zire 72)
