Does Picsel Browser Have Javascript?
« on: May 26, 2006, 11:53:07 am »
Is javascript enabled with the Browser Compatability settings?
--------------------
Internet explorer 5.01
Internet explorer 6.0
Mozilla 5.0
Picsel 1.0
Custom user agent
--------------------
I have tried IE 6.0 and Mozilla. I haven't tried Picsel 1.0 or custom user agent.
I use my zaurus and Picsel Browser to check the weather radar at intellecast.com
http://www.intellicast.com/IcastPag...v=none&pid=none
In a desktop browser, you click your state and the radar zooms into your local area using javascript.
Picsel Browser seems to try this, (it hi-lights it in a blue selection),
but the javascript doesn't seem to work, so the zoom feature never occurs.
I can use Netfront 3.1 on my Zaurus to zoom this radar image and javascript works,
but netfront has poor image rendering to the point where the image is blocky and hardly useful.
Picsel browser shows the radar images in high detail.
I would like to know if someone knows which configuration files, and how to edit them to enable Javascript.
Or on another subject, which files and how to edit for various features in Picsel Browser for Zaurus

EDIT: In the meantime, I got the url (for Chicago area), from my desktop and pasted this into Picsel Browser.
This shows the zoomed radar imsge, but I would still like to know how to enable javascript in Picsel Browser.
EDIT2: edited topic to say Javascript instead of Java
