Where To Buy Cl 1000?
« on: August 23, 2006, 03:49:50 am »
Hi Folks,

I know there are a number of places I can purchase a CL 1000 with english operating system including Figlabs and several companies in the States.

Who would you guys recommend and why?

I am also looking to "try before I buy", so are there any owners near the south coast of England (near Portsmouth ideally) who wouldn't mind trying to meet so that I can see a CL 1000 in the flesh?

Hope you guys can help.

Cheers,

John

streamlincpus.com

They are the american affiliation of trisoft.de.  Both of them contribute to this community and each zaurus bought through them will give a monetary donation to this community.  Customer satisfaction has been very good for me.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

I got mine from streamlincpus.com, they seem to be good as far as returning e-mail questions and support. (A big plus) Shipped very quick, had z-host cables and other accessories for it also.

I got mine from Conics.  They have a real nice package deal right now for new Zaurus users who don't have any essential accessories.  The package includes a USB host cable, 2 AC adapters for North America or 1 Worldwide adapter, a screen proctector, and a carry case for less then StreamLine and Trisoft chargees.
I think I'm coming down with what kahm's got!  I now have 3 Zaurii in house!  ;)
