mplayer 1.0-pre8 should be able to play 3gp videos... have to check whether the appropriate codec has been compiled into mplayer on the Zaurus build...

well, even mplayer 1.0-pre7 plays 3gp videos. I just captured a video on my sony ericcson mobile phone and send it to my Zaurus via bluetooth and was able to play it with mplayer. kino2 doesn't allow you to select videos with .3gp extensions, but zplayer works fine.

Just as a hint -- feeding "3gp" to the forum search might have taken you to [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=12031]this thread[/url], this thread or possibly even this thread in no time.

That's good to hear. Out of curiousity: does that include AMR audio as well?

Regards,
Chris.

didn't test out the audio, but I am pretty sure amr is supported in mplayer 1.0-pre8 which I had compiled for pdaXrom a while ago...
