I use a BT CF by DAIKOM (detected as CSR Bluecore 2 UART adapter) and I set a GPRS connection via my Siemens S55 for dial-up using Setting/network. It seems that it\'s all Ok. The applet says \"connected\" and pressing \"i\" button it gives right connection params (DNS, GW etc...), but if I try to use mail or browser (Opera or NF), I can\'t access to internet. NF, for example, says \"TCP write error\". Anyone can help me?
Very strange. Can you ping a site manualy from console?
ex. ping google.com
What does it say?
What output do you see from ifconfig command?
No... I can\'t ping any site.
ping says:
PING google.com (216.239.39.99): 56 data bytes
--- google.com ping statistics ---
7 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
if I use ifconfig, I obtain:
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0

Same type of response if I use another GPRS provider or other phone.
Have you any idea?
Thanks, M.
