Has the "mouse pointer not in sync" issue been fixed in any of these dosbox packages?
SL-C3100 / Ambicon WL1100C-CF / pdaXrom 1.1.0beta3 / IceWM

I have a binary of 0.66rc3 that doesn't have the issue (X-mousepointer is gone while dosbox window is active). It doesn't work with the stylus - only with a mouse.

If none of the other packages have this, I could post this one for you but it probably won't be as optimized as the latest and the greatest by Meanie.

Just shout (on PM cause I don't read this thread every day).

Chero.

This is how I download files from the forums lately.
1. hi-lite and copy filename. (you'll paste this name later)
2. right click file (or pic that is attached to forum), select "Save as" and then paste in your copied filename.
I do this in Firefox 2.0.0.2

One question meanie. Are the keyboard keys similar on this version as compared to wellswang's version. (in code below)
I'm asking this because it took me about 2 hours to figure out those key combinations.
Code: [Select]
For dosbox_0.70-iwmmxt (wellswang's version)
Right shift makes caps and some other hard to find chars

To get these characters - type these key combinations

 :  (Fn + Right Shift + g)        = colon
?  (Right Shift + /)             = question mark (dos wildcard)
 \  (Fn + Left Shift + /)         = back slash
 |  (Fn + Right Shift + /)        = pipe
 >  (Right Shift + .[period])     = greater than
 _  (Fn + Right Shift + -[dash])  = underscore
 @  (Right Shift + 2)             = at (@)
 ^  (Right Shift + 6)             = (^)
 &  (Right Shift + 7)             = ampersand
 *  (Right Shift + 8)             = asterisk (dos wildcard)
 (  (Right Shift + 9)             = left parenthesis
 )  (Right Shift + 0)             = right parenthesis

ctrl+fn+1 = keymapper (do this before changing to the C:\ directory)

I'm using 5.3.2 and it works for me.
Merli, do you have a swap file/partition installed? Might need to if you don't.
I fired up "Alleycat" and heard a few bleeps and bloops, but the game is so slow it is unplayable.
On startup up of dosbox it only complains about finding the midi device.
EDIT: I fired up Archon too and heard some sound but it was very slow.
EDIT2: I uninstalled and went back to Wellswangs and it's back to fast speed again.

I haven't tried meanie's version yet.
wellswang's dosbox_0.70-iwmmxt version definitely uses swap.
My hard drive light comes on constantly, until dosbox is completely launched.
Code: [Select]
free
          total     used      free
Swap:   250480    16024    234456

EDIT:
The memory bar is also maxed when launching dosbox with no other apps running.

I installed meanie's version and got most of the dependencies installed so far.
Where do I find "libspeex" ? (It's not listed on meanies feed or the beta3 feed at pdaxrom.org)
libspeex.so.1

Searching this forum for libspeex only brings me to this thread.

I'm going back to wellswang's dosbox_0.70-iwmmxt
meanie's has a dependency that cannot seem to be found.
I found this one, but I doubt it is for a Zaurus.
libspeex_1.1.8-1_mipsel.ipk
EDIT:
I finally found libspeex for pdaxrom on this feed.
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distri...s-7x0-860/feed/

I'll have to try this later.
