Ir Keyboard For C860, Cacko 1.23
« on: April 10, 2007, 04:55:35 pm »
Afternoon all,

Still kind of a newbie, but is there a way to use a IR keyboard with a Zaurus C860 running Cack 1.23 Full?  I have seen reference to a program called IRK, but can't seem to find a working link to get it and try.

The keyboard I would like to use is a Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard, in case that makes a difference.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Regards

These can be found here:
http://www.elsix.org/downloads/apps/

irk-sl5600_0.9.2_arm.ipk
irk-zaurus_0.10.0_arm.ipk
irk-zaurus_0.10.0_arm.ipk.old
irk-zaurus_0.11.0_arm.ipk

Also ELSI search found this page:

EDIT:
Went back to above site and found an additional IRK file for the sl5600

I'm running irk-zaurus-j_0.11.1f on my 5500, 5600, C760, & my C1K.  Hope that helps.  Take care.

On the task bar at the bottom, next to the Qt button and the keyboard button is a triangle pointing up.  Press the triangle and it will bring up the input options.  On of the options should say either Targus or Pocketop.  This will bring up another task bar with a button marked settings.  Press settings and configure.

When you want to use the external keyboard, make sure the IRK On radio button is lit.

Hope that helps.
