I'm definitely not very knowledgeable on this subject, but you probably won't be able to use your CF WiFi card through a USB card reader. I don't think the card readers support CFIO -- I think you can only use them to read/write regular CF cards (but I'm not positive).

I'd just by a single purpose usb cf card reader from a chinese shop on ebay, if I were you. It'll probably work, and it'll be extremely cheap

Oh, I see -- sorry for misunderstanding. As previously stated that is doable.

Probably any correctly designed reader that supports USB 1.1 and eating less 100mA of power.

But be prepared for 3 times slower transfer than CF card has in the Z slot. See my pages for speed comparison.

I have a Sandisk 12-in-1 reader that works fine over USB with both of my Zaurii.
C-3100 (Cacko) / and C-3200 (pdaxii13)
When using this reader with my Zaurus, I have better luck using only one slot at a time.
In other words, if I have an SD card and a CF card plugged in at once, the SD card is detected first and the CF card goes un-detected. (Or the other way around).
The name is, "Sandisk" - "ImageMate" 12 in 1
and model number is, SDDR-89 V3
You can get these at Staples.

I found that "one slot only" thing for usb devices is fixable; see one of my earlier posts for details:

https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=147688
SL-C3100 with usb power mod running debian eabi
pdaXii13 still on the NAND for dualbooting
16GB SDHC! (a new one, after I sat on the old one and it went kaput)
D-Link 660 wifi, Socket Bluetooth rev H
External 9800mAh LiIon battery and slimline dvd drive
Homebrew microphone and remote

off-topic: I can recommend Araldite for fixing computer plastic cases and pcmcia/cf adaptors - roughen the plastic first with fine sand paper to take off the sheen

wife's old laptop's display hinges were almost entirely held together with it, stronger than original. be prepared to make additional layers for strength.
