well,
after one day of compilation, the last.fm client seems to work !

sources are here : http://www.last.fm/download/

but during compilation i saw some alsaaudio.h missing error messages
and yes, as i launch it it complains about alsa_output missing and it disables audio. but it seems to work apparently !

i've just apt-get install libasound2-dev, and i'm on my way to compile it again!

i'll let you know about it

while googling i found that i missed the "alsa-lib-devel" packages...

http://www.last.fm/forum/34905/_/320906

and it does not seem to be in the debian packages...
would someone help please?

EDITED: it seems libasound2-dev can do the job. compile in progress. i'll let you know.

here it is:

get all last.fm-1.3.2.13 directory in :

http://matrixmen.free.fr/zaurus/debian/

then

cd last.fm-1.3.2.13

ln -s libLastFmTools.so libLastFmTools.so.1.0.0
ln -s libLastFmTools.so.1 libLastFmTools.so.1.0.0
ln -s libLastFmTools.so.1.0 libLastFmTools.so.1.0.0

and finally :

./last.fm

I have had the same issue with XMMS, it seems to be based on proc activity.
